1. Membership
FIN membership is available to individuals, companies and organisations.
All applications are subject to approval by FIN. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
FIN reserves the right to decline an application or terminate a membership where appropriate.
2. Membership Fee
The FIN membership fee is £495 per year.
Membership covers a 12-month membership period. Payment instructions will be provided by FIN following consideration of an application.
Membership becomes active once FIN has confirmed acceptance and the applicable membership fee has been received.
Membership fees are non-refundable.
3. Membership Benefits
Membership provides access to the FIN network and may provide opportunities to participate in FIN activities, events, programmes, networking and other initiatives.
FIN may also share relevant business, investment and trade-related information or opportunities with members.
The availability and nature of membership benefits may vary from time to time. FIN does not guarantee any particular event, opportunity, introduction, connection, speaking opportunity, publication, business outcome or other benefit.
4. Events and Activities
FIN may organise or participate in events, forums, programmes, missions and other activities for members and the wider FIN network.
Participation may be subject to availability, eligibility, separate registration or additional fees where applicable.
Travel, accommodation and other personal or business expenses are not included in the membership fee unless expressly stated otherwise.
FIN may change, postpone or cancel activities where necessary.
5. Business and Investment Opportunities
FIN may provide information about business, investment, trade or other opportunities.
FIN does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, suitability or outcome of any opportunity or introduction.
Members are responsible for conducting their own research and due diligence before entering into any business, investment or other relationship.
FIN does not guarantee that membership will result in business, investment, trade, funding, employment, introductions or any other commercial outcome.
6. Member Information
Members are responsible for providing accurate information when applying for membership and for keeping relevant information up to date.
FIN may use information provided by members to administer membership and communicate with members about FIN activities, subject to applicable data protection laws and FIN's Privacy Policy.
7. Member Conduct
Members are expected to act professionally and respectfully when participating in FIN activities or interacting with other members and contacts through the FIN network.
FIN may suspend or terminate membership where a member provides materially false information, breaches these terms, engages in unlawful or inappropriate conduct, or otherwise acts in a manner that FIN considers incompatible with membership.
8. Membership Period and Renewal
Membership lasts for 12 months from the date membership becomes active.
Membership does not automatically renew unless otherwise agreed.
A new membership fee will apply for any subsequent membership period.
FIN may change its membership fee or terms from time to time.
9. Cancellation
A member may request cancellation of their membership at any time.
Membership fees are non-refundable, including where a member cancels before the end of the membership period.
Cancellation does not create an entitlement to a refund or credit for any unused portion of the membership period.
10. Changes to FIN Activities
FIN may change, add, remove, postpone or discontinue activities, events, programmes and other membership benefits from time to time.
FIN does not guarantee that any particular activity, event, opportunity or benefit will be available throughout a member's membership period.
11. Use of FIN Name and Materials
Membership does not make a member an employee, representative, agent or partner of FIN.
Members may not represent themselves as acting on behalf of FIN unless expressly authorised to do so.
FIN's name, branding, publications, website content and other materials may not be reproduced or used without appropriate permission.
12. Responsibility and Liability
FIN provides a network, information and opportunities for members but does not guarantee any particular business, investment or other result.
Members are responsible for their own decisions, actions and dealings with other individuals, businesses and organisations.
FIN is not responsible for the actions, representations, products, services or performance of other members or third parties introduced through or encountered through the FIN network.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FIN will not be responsible for losses arising from decisions or transactions made independently by a member.
13. Privacy
Information provided in connection with membership will be handled in accordance with FIN's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
14. Acceptance
By submitting a membership application, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you agree to these Membership Terms if your application is accepted.
